School Rules

School Timings:

In Summers : 07:50 a.m. to 01:25 p.m.
In Winters : 08:20 a.m. to 02:00 p.m. & 08:35 a.m. to 02:10 p.m.

  • Students are required to carry a pass when leaving the classroom. Passes are to be properly filled out by the teacher. This includes going to the guidance counselor's office.
  • Students are not permitted to bring electronic games, toys, Walkman, sports equipment, radios, headphones, beepers, pagers, or cellular phones. These will be confiscated and will only be returned to the parent.
  • Excellent attendance, punctuality, effort, and respect are required for success.
  • School uniforms are required for all students, in accordance with resolutions adopted by our Parent Teacher Association and the School Leadership Team.
  • The nurse's office is for students who are too ill to attend class. A pass from the classroom teacher must be obtained before going to the nurse's office.
  • If a student is too ill to remain in school, a parent/guardian will be expected to pick him/her up. The student must be officially signed out at the Main Office. All school personnel have been trained to obtain strict proof of identification before releasing the child.
  • Students must be punctual. They should arrive for the school 5 minutes before the first bell. Once the gate is closed, they will not be allowed to enter the school. The school reserves the right of sending late comers back to their homes.
  • At the first bell, students should make their way to the place of assembly in absolute silence. At the second bell, the assembly shall commence.
  • Students should bring their text books, note books, etc. as per the day's time table. Name, class/section of the students should be clearly written on their all belongings.
  • It is compulsory to bring the planifier (school diary) and the Identity Card every day.
  • Home work should be done regularly. The school work and home work copies must be well covered and index should be there, well maintained on the first page.
  • Students are advised to move in corridors towards their left hand side.
  • Shouting, running, playing, whistling and using abusive language are strictly disallowed in an academic block/school bus.
  • Students will be held accountable for irregular attendance, neglect of homework, disobedience and disrespect to the members of the staff.
  • Pupils must not go to the laboratories /library/Activity classes/sports ground without their escorting teacher.
  • Decision regarding allotment of section is always taken in the best interest of the student/school. Request regarding change of section will not be entertained at all.

  • Students are not allowed to leave the school premises without permission from the Principal during school hours.
  • Lending or borrowing of money, selling/buying any article and collecting any subscription or donation is not permitted.
  • It is strictly forbidden to bring any sort of objectionable CD/DVD, Photograph, literature/material to school and the school reserves the right to carry out inspections any time.
  • Students are not allowed to bring any sharp instruments such as knife etc. to the school or any kind of object that can cause injury to others.
  • Bursting crackers and splashing colours in the school premises are strictly banned. Indulgence in these acts will result in expulsion from the school.
  • All school property should be treated with care. Scratching or spoiling school furniture, writing or scribbling on the walls or causing damage to school property will be treated as misconduct. Any such act shall entail punishment and recovery of the cost even if done accidentally/unintentionally.
  • Students should make use of the litterbins and take special care not to litter the school premises. Bringing polythene bags is banned in the school. Cleanliness should be maintained thoroughly.
  • Students should maintain the decorum of their school and should be well behaved.
  • Students are not allowed to receive their friends/guests/relatives visitors during school hours.
  • Students suffering from infection/contagious diseases shall, under no circumstances, be permitted to attend school until full recovery. They should submit a fitness certificate from the doctor.
  • The school shall not be responsible for any unforeseen accident or illness or mishap that may happen to a student during the school hours or while on school trips or school sponsored activities outside the school.
  • It is mandatory to maintain a minimum of 60% marks throughout the session to avail the benefit of any kind of fee concession provided to the student (scholarship, teacher's ward fee concession etc.) failing which, all concession will be withdrawn with immediate effect.
  • Unknown persons will not be allowed to collect the child from the school. In case of an emergency, parents should co-ordinate with concerned school authorities accordingly to avoid unforeseen problems regarding security of your child.
